Kim Arnone has worked with start-up enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses, and Fortune 500 companies for over 15 years to solve problems and prepare for future challenges and growth. Kim advises clients on securities matters, including capital raising strategies, private placements, direct public offerings and investment crowdfunding. She also has experience working with clients to resolve issues through litigation and alternative dispute resolution. In addition to securities work, she handles contract disputes, trade secret protection and misappropriation matters, employment counseling and litigation, and disputes among owners and partners, among others. Kim provides advice that is practical and cost-effective.
Kim graduated from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology. She earned her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. At Hastings, she was Editor-in-Chief of the Hastings Women’s Law Journal, a Public Interest Law Foundation scholar, and a 1066 Foundation scholarship recipient.
Kim is Co-Chair of the East Bay Women In Business Roundtable and sits on the Board of Directors of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. She is the former Board Chair of the AIDS Legal Referral Panel and has volunteered with the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Housing Negotiation Project. Kim is also a member of the Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom.
Kim is admitted to practice in all state and federal trial and appellate courts in California and is a member of the litigation and employment law sections of the California Bar.
